National mortgage rates on 30-year fixed mortgages fell 2 basis points from 4.36% to 4.34% on July 30, 2010, according to Zillow Mortgage Marketplace. As a comparison, state rates ranged from a low of 4.22% (UT) to a high of 4.74% (NV).
Compared to the week prior to July 30, 2010, the national 30-year mortgage rate is down 4 basis points from 4.38%. Compared to three months ago, the 30-year rate is down 54 basis points from its average rate of 4.88%.
